The football industry is an ever-evolving environment which challenges even the most experienced professionals to the full.
For those working within football organisations who would like to enhance their skills and deepen their knowledge of how the game operates, the UEFA Academy provides a significant learning opportunity.
The Certificate in Football Management (CFM) is a course run under the aegis of the UEFA Academy and it gives its participants the chance to gain a better understanding of the industry while developing their own managerial skills and, in the process, join a growing global community of over 2,000 industry professionals.

How it is structured
The 2024/25 edition will run for nine months until summer 2025 and will entail both e-learning and in person training, all in English.
Programme participants will undertake 10 interactive online modules and three face-to-face seminars – the first and third at UEFA’s HQ in Nyon, and the second in football venues in London. Each module and seminar covers the following key areas of football management:
The organisation of world football;
Strategic and performance management;
Operational management;
Football marketing and sponsorship;
Communication, media and public relations;
Event and volunteer management;
Women’s football;
Football development;
Social and environmental sustainability;
Football law
On completion, participants will earn a Certificate of Advance Studies (CAS) in Football Management worth 10 ECTS, which are recognised by all European universities

The full cost is €7,900, including all programme materials as well as F&B during the seminars.
