Tacoma Stars 4 – 9 San Diego Sockers – Tacoma, Washington

Joel (@TFPapers) went to see Landon Donavan in action for Major Indoor Soccer League outfit San Diego Sockers. We couldn’t wait for these photos. But according to Joel, Landon activated that ‘if you can’t be arsed, you don’t have to travel’ clause in his contract. Poor show, Landon.

Doncaster 0 – 2 Crystal Palace – Doncaster, Yorkshire

Warren (@WarrenAJB) ventured north to Yorkshire, where no trip would be complete without a visit to the Keepmoat’s Billy Bremner Bar. Pukka Pie – £3.10. Tetley’s – £3.30. The frustrated glare of a Doncaster fan working behind the bar, as the Palace fans cry ‘Que sera, sera’ for the 112th time – priceless.

Jack (@JackburnRovers) was at the Tameside Stadium to tick things off his non-league to-do list. Have a browse through the classic programmes, stand next to the outrageously loud drummer, swap ends at half-time, and watch a home team lose 6-0. Top work.
